Do babies thrive on commercial baby food as much as they do on home made food?
I fed my daughter on home made food exclusively in terms of solids, I otherwise breastfeed her until 2 weeks ago when we went on a small 4 day holiday, during which time she ate jar food. After that I started giving her commercial baby food more often. So... what happens if i continue like this? Can jar food be compared to adult fast food junk food, or is it ok to alternate home made commercial food every few days?
How difficult is it to find halal baby food on super market shelves?
Muslim babies were not getting a balanced diet during weaning stage due to the lack of halal meat and chicken baby food jars available on super market shelves. What are your views on this? Why are so many moms surprised when baby doesn't want formula/baby food anymore?
I'm not being mean, by any means. I gave Ethan formula so, I'm not one of those evil breastfeeding Nazi's because I breastfed Sophie.Now that that is out of the way.... Why are moms so surprised when their baby doesn't want to drink their formula or eat baby food anymore? I see 5 posts a day on here asking for help with their baby. Have you ever smelled formula? Have you ever tasted formula? Have you ever tasted baby food? It's HORRIBLY DISGUSTING. Yes, babies have never had anything else so, no, they shouldn't know that it tastes gross. But, after several months of drinking eating it, it's got to just be gross. They sit there watching us eat our food and drink a variety of different looking things. I really think they WANT something different. We don't drink and eat the same thing every single day, why should they? We like different textures, tastes, consistencies....What do you mommas think? I hope this didn't come off as mean. It was just a thought that popped into my head and I wondered if others ever thought this too?EDIT I HATED giving Ethan formula. I regret it even to this day and he's 3 1 2 When I think about how gross it smelled and tasted it makes me sick all over again. Yes, it's necessary for many babies and serves a very usefull purpose. I'm not denying that. They should just make it not smell or taste so gross.
Is gerber baby food more expensive than formula?
What is the cost of gerber baby food? How many jars does a baby go through in a day on average? I go through 1 tub of formula a week now, and I'm wondering if the gerber baby food is more or less than the formula.
Orange baby food stains on clothes?
Ive washed at 60 and used a prewash also stain removers such as Oxy, Ariel, Vanish they have faded a bit but still have not totally come out fully. Any ideas? Thanks
8 month old not interested in baby food.?
My 8 month old isn't eating any baby food, or basically anything from a spoon. He sees his older broth 2 eating and wants to eat the same things. I've given him some egg yolk, cheese, bread and rice but he still spills most of it because he doesn't quite have the dexterity. Can anyone please suggest some finger food ideas for my baby. no longer " just for fun" . Ive seen a lot of answers on here that state baby food is just for fun until X amount of months. I thought it was one year. I thought that a Babys main source of nutrients was from formula until one year old. So someone, please correct me.My daughter is 8 months old. She is a pro at eating solids.
