When should I stop mixing rice cereal with fruit & vegetable baby food?
I have a niece who is 6 months and eats rice cereal mixed with her fruit and vegetable baby food. When is it a good time to stop mixing it and giving her the baby food directly?

Starting 5 month old on vegetable baby food?
Currently my baby eats 1tbsp rice cereal mixed with 2 tbsp formula a 7 ounce bottle of formula for breakfast, then has 3 more eight ounce bottles every 3 3.5 hours the rest of the day, plus nurses in the afternoon and at night for a snack... My doctor said to start him on veggie baby food when he is 5 months old which is in 10 days... I just have a few questions... Do I start him on certain vegetables first? Or do I offer him all the kinds... do I give him formula as well to wash it down or just water? How much vegetable baby food does a typical 5 month old eat per day Such as a whole jar or half a jar ? How much do I offer him at lunch and supper? I want to make sure he is eating enough but I know it's hard to measure with baby food as they spit it out and get it everywheres lol so I just need to know how much to give, what kinds, and if to offer a bottle with the baby food Thanks for all your help
