I don't see how it can hurt. I feed my kids rice from the rice cooker and they are just fine. my son is 15 months and my daughter turns 3 in april

Well, toddler food for sure. I would probably use commercially prepared rice cereal for baby's first food. But as you are introducing them to solids, why not? I put my kids' food in the blender. They ate what we ate (okay, not steak!) but pureed.

Absolutely - it cook it perfectly and if you add 1/ 2 cup more of the veggie/ mushroom or other stock it makes it really soft and easy for the child to digest. Good Job!

My wife has been feeding all three of our kids rice from the rice-cooker from age one and up.
