6.5 month old starting baby food?
I tried my 6.5 month old on rice cereal several times, she just let it fall out of her mouth, so someone said to try something w more flavor. I tried squash baby food and she ate a tablespoon and then threw it all up. Does this mean she isn't ready, or that she has a small stomach?

Getting ready to start pureed foods and looking at different brands. Looking toward Nature's Goodness, Earth's Best, and Beechnut. Anyone try these? I am leaning toward Nature's Goodness as it indicates no preservatives and is a little cheaper. Also has large selection.

And if anyone knows any links to those baby food bottles that feed them baby cereal plz include them.Thank You Guys SO muchmy ped just got out of school so how is her info outdated?and she shows most of the signs of being ready to eat, like the ones listed in what to expect for the 1st year

4months and 2 weeks when is a good time to start baby food other than cereal
my daughter is 4 months and 2 weeks i have been feeding her cerealfor 2 weeks now and am now feeding her 2 times a day now but i was wondering if it is too soon to give her tha 1 baby food like pears and carrots she does really well with the cereal so i was thinking she was ready what do u think thanks alot natasha

I just started my baby on solid food, and I'm trying to establish set " meal times" . My question is, do I need to always give a bottle w the baby food? She is still wanting a bottle every 3 hours. So, it doesn't always work out that she gets both at every " meal" .When did your baby start 3 meals a day?How much did they usually eat?She's a big baby 19 pounds , almost 6 months, if that helps.Thank you

I have been starting a little 1st stage baby food with my little girl. My ? is, they say to only feed one kind of food for a week to make sure there are no reactions but what if you try one and your baby thinks it was disgusting and refused to eat it? Is it ok to try something else since she didn't eat a half a spoonful? I tried peas and she must feel about the same as I do about them because her face was horrible and she spit it mostly back out and didn't want anything to do with it. Can I try something else or do I have to wait a week? What 1st stage foods did your baby like? I was told that bananas and sweet potatoes were big hits. Opinions? Oh, I already have done the cereal thing.

so yesterday my son had his 4 month check up his doctor said everything looked good and said I could start the baby cereal and baby food. Im ok with the cereal but a little hesitant on the baby food I did buy a few jars just to see how he would react and he seemed to take it ok but spit it out like most babies do but anyways when did some of you start giving your babies baby food?and I want to make his cereal a little more fun to eat not just bland cereal with breast milk or formula any ideas?.he seems hungry a lot is the reason she told me that I could start the baby food.

Ok so my sons doctor told me to start giving him rice cereal when he was 4 months and so far he has been doing great on it with barely a mess. He is 6 months old now so is this the time I want to start introducing number 1 baby foods from the jars and sippy cups I know I saw sippy cups that say 4 months 9months but not sure ? Should be be able to have juice now too?When did you start your children on all of this?To frogysue The juice I was going to get says on the bottle that it is diluted and it has barely any sugar in it. It is the same price as regular juice too.
