What is the difference between the Gerber and home-made stage 1 baby food?
I'm confused because the Gerber food I'm not too sure about other brands, but I suppose they are all the same does not have any junk in it...What makes home made food better?How do I know that it's been cooked more properly?
When do you start stage 1 baby food?
I just asked a question about when to feed 8oz of formula, and when to start rice cereal. I forgot to ask, when is a good time to start stage 1 baby jar food? My baby will be 2 months on Saturday, eating 4 6oz every 3 4 hoursi was just wondering....wasn't thinking of starting any of these right away

Should my baby be eating a whole tub of stage 1 baby food per serving?
My daughter is 6 months and 3 weeks old and doesn't come close to finishing a whole tub of stage 1 baby food. One tub could last a whole day and into the next day. I mix it with rice cereal though so could that be why she doesn't eat as much? I don't have any set amount I feed her, I just feed her until she is full and doesn't want anymore.

I have been feeding her stage 1 baby foods for almost 2 months, and there are only a few of them that she will eat. How do I know when she is ready to start stage 2 foods? When can I introduce her to stage 1 meats? I heard that they can not be introduced to meats at all until about 9 months because of bacterial growth in their intestines. Is this true?I started out making her food myself, but she would not eat it. I tried for like 2 weeks, and she just seemed to like the already made foods.
