I need recipes for baby food that is high in iron...?
My 7 month old baby doesn't like ground beef I'm guessing that it's a consistency thing rather than taste she doesn't like the consistency of baby rice either. She does love a mixture of sweet potato, apple and prune juice. I also smuggled some broccoli into the mix the other day and she didn't seem to notice but if I add meat, she refuses to eat it. I am now trying to put a tiny bit of ground beef in with it and will gradually increase it.Does anyone have any recipes with ground beef that she might like?I forgot to mention that I puree the abovementioned foods. She wouldn't eat apple sauce with lumps in it and now loves it if it is smooth.... and so I puree the ground beef to a really smooth consistency as well but pureed ground meat is still a different consistency than pureed veges and fruit.Or any recipes high in iron that don't use ground beef egg yolks, for instance?
What are some yummy recipes for baby foods (specifically for a 1-2 year old)?
Cooking has always made me a wrack of nerves But now more so when it comes to my children. Right now in daycare they eat homemade gerber like foods but every time I cook for my daughter, she seems to like the gerber food better than what i prepare for her I really want to cook delicious and healthy food snacks for her. Anyone have great recipes? Or know of great websites with yummy and healthy recipes? Thank you very much Or, does anyone recommend a baby book with recipes?
