Homemade organic baby food?
I make food for my baby at home. All the books about baby food say you should peel off the skin from fruits and vegetables, but since I only use organic fruits and veggies, do I still have to peel it off? I know the skin has so much vitamins and there should not be any chemicals since it is organic, so do you think there is any other reason why they recomend making baby purees withouts the skin?
What do you know about organic baby food?
I was going to make my own but I'm on WIC. WIC in CA provides a large amount of baby food organic included. What would be good organic food to get? Is it as good as it sounds? I live on small Army post. I think Gerber is the main brand. My son is almost 6 months old. It's free with WIC.

Organic baby food vs. making my own?
i still have quite a while before my son will need baby food, but i was curious as to what you guys think about the whole organic vs. making the food thing. With my daughter i started out making the baby food but it got to be such a hassle i started buying the organic foods and she loved them. That was 4 years ago though and they are more expensive now i was just curious what other parents are doing about the baby food situation if i should suck it up and just buy the organic foods at 95 cents a jar or just make my own any input is greatly appreciated.
Organic or non-organic baby food....?
Which do you prefer? Obviously the organic is better but do they have the same nutritional value or does the organic have a better nutritional value?
Plum organics baby food at babies r us...? sale?
I saw that the plum organics baby food is on sale 10 for 10 at babies r us.com but with shipping it ends up being even more expensive than paying regular price at the store. I called 2 stores to see if they're also on sale at the store and one said I would have to go in and check myself and another one said I had to call back tomorrow because they had a busy day today both very rude so I was wondering if anyone has been to babies r us recently and happened to notice if they're on sale? thanks
Another question about organic baby food...?
Sorry, I feel like Im so crazy when it comes to feeding my baby. So, I asked a qeustion about organic baby food vs non organic both gerber if organic really is all that better. Common sense basically tells you that is is. Its a little more expensive and I would like to feed it to my baby if I can. But, would it be that big of a deal to feed him organic baby food when I can and just the normal baby food when Im tighter on cash? Would it matter at all to switch back and forth? I know, also a qeustion that might seem kind of dumb to some people But, I noticed that they also have WAY more of a selection of the non organic food.
Is organic baby food worth it?
How worth the extra cost is it to buy organic baby food cereal? I'm in my first trimester so I have time to think it over but I'm still not sure. Has anyone on here gone organic? What are your thoughts on it? Thanks
