I haven't yet but I plan on it, especially for fruits that Gerber doesn't offer like avacodo & mango. The below website gives you all the details of what you can feed your baby and when as well as instructions.

I just steam vegetables or cook down some fruits (or a combination of both) and put it through a food processor until smooth. If it is still too think add a little breast milk/ formula or water.

Yes. Fresh fruits and vegetables. But I only pureed it for a short while. If it was too thick I added some breastmilk.

I just put whatever we were eating into a food processor and pureed it. My daughter would not eat jar baby food but love, loved, loved anything I gave her that was mashed up! I would make a little extra and I just kept it in small glad storage containers in the refrigerator.

Sometimes I did. It is simple. I steamed carrots (for example) and pureed them with a little water from the pot until smooth. I didn't use spices (cinnamon, nutmeg) until about 9-10 months old.
