How long can you leave an open jar of baby food in the fridge. 3 days?
oh and do you feed him from the jar and put it in the fridge or put it in a bowl.. my boyfriend refuses to put it in a bowl.. he says its not going to hurt him.. well i guess it hasnt , it just seems kinda gross.lol
My 4.5 month old eats a whole jar of baby food..?
My baby will be 5 months in a week, when she was 3.5 months I started giving her rice cereal, then when she turned 4 months I started giving her baby jar food. She eats the beginner stage. She only eats 4oz of formula ever 3 4 hours but when it comes to baby food she can scarf down a whole jar and still want more. Is this too much for her to be eating? I don't want people to criticize me on how early I started solids, I just want an answer.. Thanks
How many jars of baby food should my baby take?
My doctor said that I can introduce my son to solid foods between 4 6 months depending on if I thought he was ready. So I decided to try feeding him this week and he loves it He ate half a jar the first feeding applesauce and wanted more but I didnt want him to get sick or not take his bottle. I know that the most important thing right now is his formula. So all this week I have been giving him 1 2 jar of applesauce mixed w rice cereal for breakfast & dinner, he has loved it & seems so much more content since starting the baby food, he is even napping longer for me...well my question is should I start giving him more baby food? Should I give him two jars a day since I think that he wants it? After each feeding he kicks & reaches out for the spoon, like hes wanting MORE Additional info He is 4 1 2 months...16lbs, in the 85 % for height & 55 % for weight, he was born at 9lbs..takes 30oz of formula per day & has been sleeping through the night since he was 9 weeks old.P.S, I dont want to hear about he should be eating solids until he's 6 months...my ped. gave me the green light & my daughter started at 4 months as well & she is very active & healthy I wants some solid advice from parents who can help, thanks
How many jars of baby food is usually allowed for baby's on WIC in Ohio?
My Grandson is 7 1 2 months old. He just now began to get voucher's for baby food. They only allow 16 jars a month. This child can eat 4 small a day easy. Will this amount be increased next month or is this the normal allotment? He still takes formula. I know 16 is better than nothing but I am just wondering. How many jars of baby food should my 11 month old eat in one day?
She usually eats 4 6. She wont let me use a spoon to feed her. The doctor gave me advice when she was 6 months old to put the food in the bottle.. I cut the nipple of a nuk bottle and put the food in there with 6 ounces of milk. She loves it and isn't fat 22 pounds , my mother says that she should only be eating one or two jars a day with cereal mixed in them like rice. But every time she eats rice she throws up. So the doctor tells me to not give it to her and just offer what will stay down.She is 33 inches tall she is walking and I do that sometimes but she will eat with her hands. I love sweet potatoes and in this house i buy them often for myself and I always mash 1 4th of mine up and give it to her in a suction cup bowl. She will eat that but she just wont eat off a spoon. I'll make eggs in the morning scrambled and she'll pick that up or wheat toast and eat a bit of that. Anything i put on her table she'll eat half of it at least but we are really poor with only 100 dollars to buy my food every month and we have wic right now she isn't a year yet so she doesn't get real food off it only jarred baby food. I tried to do what your talking about I have a wand blender I did it for a while but it cut into our budget. Considering the jarred baby food I get is free, and the normal food has a limited fund. I cook food for my baby's but I also use stage 2 jars for my twins especially when we are out and about. I usually buy whatever is on special offer this week was Cow and gate we have tried hipp & heinz also both my babies prefer cow and gate or hipp, I find that heinz goes really watery. Anyway my question it what jars do you use and why?

Should an 8 month old baby, who has no teeth yet be eating jars of baby food with meat?
And if so how much meat should this baby be eating? Does he have to have meat everyday? Should the mom be buying the meat jars and mixing them with the vegetables? If anyone knows how many ounces of jars, and how many ounces of formula should this baby be eating per day, please advise me. I am the grandma and I don't get to talk to the baby's doctor. My daughter in law is a first time mom and I really don't think she knows precisely how much the child needs and I think she is over feeding him.
Why do jars of baby food have to be used within a few days?
I'm just curious what happens to it after being opened and just put inthe fridge that it would have to be thrown out right away.Well your not supposed to feed directly from the jar anyways, so how would bacteria from the babies mouth get in there
