My son is 5 months ate a whole jar of baby food normal?
Ok my son will be 5 months this friday, and recently he has been eating a whole jar of sweet potatoes is it normal for him to eat this much? because he wanted to nurse a little bit after words is he getting to much? or is this the way it is?my son is exclusively breastfed he gets one jar a day for lunch then he sometimes gets cereal before bed but other then that he eats breast milk and hs doctor told me I could start him on solids
How long can you leave an open jar of baby food in the fridge. 3 days?
oh and do you feed him from the jar and put it in the fridge or put it in a bowl.. my boyfriend refuses to put it in a bowl.. he says its not going to hurt him.. well i guess it hasnt , it just seems kinda gross.lol

my baby will be 6 months next week and i want to start giving her tastes of solids. she has had a little bit of rice cereal which she liked. now i want to let her try sweet potatoes or carrots or something like that...heres the thing, we go to a clinic where they offer guidance for things like introducing solids and the nurse advised me to make my own baby food. she said that the bottles of baby food contain preservatives which is something that i do want to avoid. BUT when i went to the store and looked at the labels on the jars of baby food, there were no preservatives listed. i asked the nurse about this and she said, " how can the food last in the bottle unless there are preservatives in there?" so, whats the deal? are jars of baby food good or bad in this regard? also, if jars of baby food are fine and they dont contain preservatives, then why do some people make their own anyway when the jars seem more convenient?

how many jars do you feed the baby at about 6 months PER feeding? Like do you usually just feed one jar or one jar of fruit and one veggie? Do you do this and how many times in a day do you feed the baby? Thanks for any advice

I cook food for my baby's but I also use stage 2 jars for my twins especially when we are out and about. I usually buy whatever is on special offer this week was Cow and gate we have tried hipp & heinz also both my babies prefer cow and gate or hipp, I find that heinz goes really watery. Anyway my question it what jars do you use and why?

If she can't eat what we're eating. I was just wondering if its ok to still give stage 2? Sometimes she will eat stage 2 and sometimes its stage 3...However, Just wondering because usually at this age they are mostly on stage 3 if they eat baby food. She mostly gets table food, just on occasion she will have a jar for lunch
