Does anyone here make their infants baby food?
I want to make my daughter foods, carrots ect.have you ever done this?any food advice, or products that would be helpful if you havent done this pls dont answer.what were your experiences doing this also?
When do u start feeding infants baby food?
My children wouldn't stay full for long so I started my 1st baby on baby food at bout 4 or 5 months....I started my 2nd at about 3 months. . What is the time u r suppose to start a baby on baby food?
When did you stop giving your infant baby food and switch them to all table foods?
Me too, I've already tried to start giving her mashed potatoes and cut up carrots and what not, but I'm so scared of her choking on something. I just went and bought a bunch more stage 3 foods to carry us well into 9 months before I start trying it again. She's chewing that stuff well, but I'm having trouble judging how much to give her.I mostly have her on stage 3 because she doesn't like the texture of food, so I'm trying to get her used to it.
Giving an infant baby food close to bedtime?
So tonight around 8 I was finally eating dinner and my 6 month old kept trying to " steal" my food. I put him down on the floor to play and he got upset and started crying. So I gave him some frozen apple puree in a mesh feeder. He sat there and ate it while I finished dinner. Then he wanted to nurse for a little bit so i nursed him and got him ready for bed, and he has been sleeping for 4.5 hours. Normally he wakes up every 2 hours. So I am thinking that the food is keeping him full longer so he is sleeping better... I am just wondering if it is " ok" to give him food that close to bedtime? It was about an hour before he went to sleep. It seems to be helping with sleeping, but I dont want him to get sick or start gaining a lot of weight or anything... How many times a day to feed infant baby food?
How many time a day and how much should i feed my 6month old baby food i give her cereal in the morning and when can i give her some vegetables then fruit after?everyone tells me different things im confused if any one can give me some ideas like a schedule or something i would appreciate it thanksshes is 5 1 2months old she already eats ceral and she eats 6ozs of formula every 2hours even after the cereal
Have you given your infant baby food at 8 weeks old?
Well, my baby is now 8 1 2 weeks old, and we suffer from constipation problems due to the cereal the doctor has me adding in his milk, and also from the use of gas drops. The doctor has me giving him prune juice and apple juice already to help with the constipation also. Well, it's been 10 years since my first child and I really can't remember how I went about feeding him. I do remember that my babysitter with my first son was from the old school, and she didn't believe in what the doctors would say about feeding a baby. She started giving him baby food fruits only at a very young age and he was always very satisfied with his feedings. With my second son, my newborn, he seems not to be so satisfied at times. I am wondering if giving him some baby food fruits would harm him in any kind of way? Yes, thanks Pippin.......... the doctor has instructed me to add the cereal to the milk feedings due to my son has Acid Reflux. The cereal helps to keep it down and to advoid the danger of him vomiting, as it would actually come out of his nose and was a danger to going back into the lungs The juice is to help with the constipation from the cereal He also takes Zantac twice a day for the Acid Reflux.In a Wic class, I learned that my baby is not the only baby suffering from acid reflux, also, I learned that my doctor is not the only doctor who suggested adding cereal and juice to the diet to help with the problems.
At what age can I start feeding my infant baby food?
My daughter is almost 6 months old and seems to want to try whatever I'm eating. I bought some Gerber bananas and she seems to like them. I just don't think she actually eats enough to get full. I think she just likes the taste.
