Question: Heinz baby food pulled from stores?

Was it pulled from shelves from stores? i was a three places looking for baby cookies (not arrowroot kind) the ceral kind and i noticed at 3 diffrent stores... there was none.. i mean not just bare shelf but like it was never there at all... And i live in a big city in Canada.. so it should be there...

I havent heard anything about it being ruled out of the stores. sometimes a product that sells better than other brands, that store will sell it and do away with the brand that they cant really sell.its kind of like coke and pepsi. some places sell coke and some sell pepsi.it depends on the manager and what he is told to sell. some big companies give managers gifts of money or items for selling their product.its like you scratch my back and i wil scratch yours.you could go to the store and ask why they dont sell it. if enough people rquest it then it will sell again.

They pulled it from the shelves at our local grocery store (southern california) about 2 years ago. I think Heinz just couldn't compete with the big guys (Gerber, Beech Nut, Earth's Best). But the clearance sales were great. About 5 cents per jar of baby food. Regards, Mari

I live in Canada too; Ontario. They have not pulled Heinz from the shelves as I use pretty much all of their baby food products. I just picked some up today, in fact! The store you were at is probably either not carrying it anymore or they are waiting for a shipment.
