Simple and healthy baby food ideas!!!!!?
My 7 month old baby has refused any form of baby cereal and seems only interested in breast milk which is no longer enuf to sustain him.i noticed he doesnt mind much eating some solid foods off my hand.i need ideas of healthy balanced diet meals that r easy to prepare

i just went to my doctor and she told me i could start her on baby food but then i heard on the news that most of them contain alot of sugar and i dont really want to make my own so i was wondering if any knew where i can buy healthy ones i live in edmonton alberta
What are healthy baby food veggies?
ok so we started giving our baby solids now. We were told by the doctor to do veggies first that way he wouldn't reject vegetables because he'd rather have fruit. So he said corn and sweet potato didn't count. I started with carrots and after a few days of that we tried green beans he shook and gagged and refused them. Is there anyway to make them taste better like mixing them with something. We tried mixing them with the carrots but he gagged from that too. It was hard to even get him to eat carrots after that because he was afraid I was going to give him green beans again. Are there any vegetables that are good for him that you think he will like better? How does your baby do with veggies?

If I get a Magic Bullet chopper can I thaw frozen or use fresh veggies to puree them to make fresh baby food. It is healthy and a more cost efficiant way to get food in instead of the costly baby food jars. What do others do? Is it really safe to get Healthy Choice Low sodium soup and blend that? I still suppliment with Enfamil formula. As my child is 5 months only. I stopped breast feeding 3 wks ago. should I say " pumping" as she never really got it. The latching on part.

We were thinking about trying homemade baby food when our baby is about 5 months old. Has anyone ever tried this? Does anyone have any good recipes for baby food that would be healthy for this age? I heard something about making them in ice cube treys, then keeping them in baggies, if you do this, how do you thaw it before feeding baby?

I'm worried about my baby's diet. He is 7 months old and he's been on 2 meals a day since 6 months. I've never been told what to feed him, I've just guessed. He just has jarred porridge for breakfast and jarred baby food for dinner, along with his milk feeds and some rusks for snacks if he seems hungry.I've heared about mothers making their own food with different vegetables, and it sounds so much healthier and cheaper than these jarred foods. Has anyone got any good recipes?
