This might sound weird..First time mom i just started offering the meats to my eight month old but i have only giving the mixed ones like ham and apples ect. yesterday i bought some plain ones like chicken why are they in such smaller jars then the others?I didn't know they needed to be mixed? I am feeding him a jar right now but he is also having bananas with it but not mixed together Is that okay or are you suppose to mix them together? Has anyone noticed a metal irony taste in the Gerber baby foods?
I been noticing in the jars of stage 1 and plastic container w lid 2nd stage foods have had this same taste. I always slightly taste my child's baby food, I definitely wouldn't put anything in him that I thought was horrible lol. Thanks for taking the time to answer my question...if it continues I'm either contacting Gerber or switching brands.
Is size the only difference between stage 1 and stage 2 Gerber Baby food?
Or am I missing something? It seems to be the same. It's just that stage 2 is bigger and has more flavors, right?I thought so. Thanks for those who answered my question and not judging me for using baby food on occasion.
What can I make Gerber baby food into?
My daughters father bought TONS of Gerber baby food the thing is shes now 9 months old and still is refusing to eat it and I don't blame her, its tart as tart can be and makes my face even pucker I know i cant add honey and would like to avoid't adding sugar, so what can i do? I don't want it all to go to waist and am curious if anyone has any ideas how to incorporate it in other home cooked meals or how to make it tolerable at least?
Gerber Baby food (bananas) recall?
I've gotten several posts on Facebook that say there's a recall for Gerber's Bananas due to possible glass in the food. Granted, it's probably just a hoax but I can't seem to log on to Gerber.com for verification. Has anyone heard this?
