When can I start feeding baby food to my little one?
I was just wondering how soon I can give her those little glasses with mashed fruit and all that good stuff. I heard it is 4 6 months but every baby is different. When did you start?
When to start feeding baby foods?
All the doctors say not to start feeding a baby foods until around 6 months. Would it hurt the baby if I fed him baby foods before 6 months. Like at 6 weeks? He does not seem full sometimes with just formula and if I give him another ounce he will spit it up. What is the reason the doctors say not to feed them baby foods?

ok how much should i give my son on the baby food and i know he is not allgic to carrots or bananas so can i give him a little of both. he is about to be four months in 10 days is just completely draining me on breast milk. and still seems a little hungery after eatting for 30 mins i know i'm still producing enough cas he would not gone from 14.9 to 15.1 in a week. but any ways. that is my question. oh one more if i want to give my son some formula like wen he is ot with me but hee wont drink it is there any way to like trick him. like he dont like the bottle...
Just started feeding baby food today. Tomorrow I think I will feed him 4 times??
He loves eating from a spoon and although he just started today I gave him peas for supper and rice cereal for bed , I think tom. I will give him 3 meals and a bedtime snack. Is that too much? I plan on giving him about 3 tablespoons at a time unless he is giving signs of being done. I will still breastfeed after each meal and all day and night too.

My son is nearing 5 months and has recently started with fruits and veggies. Now that we have introduced him to the different kinds without problems I'm wondering how often he should have it. One container at a feeding once a day or one contained only fed half at a time two times a day?I'm just wondering because he is eating 7 ounce bottles every 3 or sometimes 4 hours. I began offering his fruits and veggies at dinner time as told by my pediatrician he likes hem just fine and eats well. I just don't want to give him to much baby food and not enough formula.

It may be a silly question but my daughter is going to the dr on Thursday for her four month check up and she will be starting on rice cereal after that. she is an exclusively breastfed baby. So I realize you start with once a day and work your way up. But what about when she is onto actual baby food, which I am making myself with my baby bullet. How often do you feed baby food, how often do you breastfeed. Are there any books you can suggest? First time mom.. obviously.

Stop solid foods or feed baby food prunes? Constipated Baby!?
My six months old just recently began solids foods. She is constipated and I am wondering, should I stop solid foods for a few days or introduce baby food prunes today? I just wasn't certain if the prunes would help or hurt. Thanks for your help And she won't take fruit juice...not even in a medicine dropper Thanks for the idea on diluting the fruit juice. I've tried it and she won't take that either. Part of the problem is that she refuses a bottle. I've got a sweet but picky little one

My daughter in law came home from a friend of hers, with baby food and started feeding her baby 31 2months a jar of carrots. I say she should have discussed it with the doctor first. I thought you start out feeding cereal first,fruit and then vegetables, But its been a long time since i had a baby and a lot has changed. Can anyone give us advice?

There is so much conflicting information regarding feeding babies food. Start with cereal, don' t start with cereal start at 4 months, don't start until after 6 months etc. Has anyone read any good books about feeding your baby solids that talks about the different opinions of different researchers subjectively? Are there any good websites you would recommend about feeding baby? I'm just interested in reading a little more about different opinions before I make my own...Thanks
