Morning, Lunch, dinner, how much bottle did you still give. I want my baby to still use milk as primary food but now Im feeding my baby he's in his 6th month and eating stage 2 foods. What is your baby's feeding schedule just to give me a idea.

I always nurse my daughter before offering anything else. When she's had her fill of milk I'll offer her table foods, she's seven months. She usually wants to eat twice a day - sometimes once. She eats basically what I eat, tonight she's having some mashed potatoes and chicken! Yum.

Well, my daughters been eating solids for 2(ish) months and when we started her out we still kept all the bottle feedings we just added a solid feeding too. Now we've taken out 1 of the feedings & she eats twice a day

My daughter continued to nurse on demand when she was eating solids. Your bottlefed baby should be doing the same. Continue to offer his usual bottles and, after 1-3 bottles a day (depending on his interest and appetite, offer some solids and let him eat what he wants. As long as he isn't cutting back on his milk, he can have as much solid food as he enjoys.)

My son just turned 7 months last week and i started feeding him about 4 months. In the morning i give him cereal with fruit on the side, or soup with potatoe, or refried beans. For luch i give him more soup or what ever else he can easily swallow and is healthy for baby :) And the same for dinner lately he has been able to eat more food with texture so i give him what i eat but in small pieces. Oh i forgot, after the feeding i give him a 6 oz bottle.

My daughters schedule is half a jar of baby food and a bottle in the morning, then a bottle 4-5 hours later, then the rest of the jar of food and another bottle another 4-5 hours later, then if she wants it another bottle before bed. And all her bottles are 10oz. Shes 5.5 months now.

I just started feeding my 6 mth old not too long as well. I usually give her a bottle real early - she usually falls asleep for another hour or so (6 oz) she wont eat more than 6 oz of formula for me. Around 8am, I feed her oatmeal as well as baby food *fruit* mixed in with it. For lunch, I give her fruit & vegitable as well as juice in a bottle. Come dinner, around 6pm, I give her veggie & a dinner one were working on..but shes not seeming to like the dinner one yet. So Ive been giving oatmeal and the veggie. Usually after ever food feeding, about 2 hrs later, I will give her formula...just so she gets her intake of it still. Though, sometimes she will not drink much of it. Shes a picky little girl, only 13lbs, Dr's said for me to feed her as much as possible, but they said she may just have a fast metab. At any rate, good luck with your feedings!!!

I nurse on demand through out the day and offer solids twice, once around lunch time and again at dinner time. some times she eats a lot and sometimes not so much, when you are bottle feeding baby should be getting at least 24 oz of formula a day and then what ever solids or more formula in addition. our day looks something like this 6:30 am milk 8:30 am milk 11:00 am cereal and fruit 12:00 milk 2:00 milk 4:00 milk 6:00 dinner 7:30 milk my little one sleeps through the night without waking up and is breast fed so a formula fed baby may go longer in between feeds and a baby who is up in the night may still need milk then.

When we first started, we fed her the same amount of formula, and just fed her about a tablespoon of different foods until she had tried everything and we knew she never had any allergies. As she got into her 7th, 8th, and 9th months, we added more solids and slowly reduced her formula intake. However, just to make sure that he's getting the right amount of nutrients, always feed him a minimum of 24 ounces of milk a day until he is 1 year old. Here is our daughter's current schedule: 6am - 6.5oz bottle 9am - 6.5oz bottle, 1/ 3c cereal (we mix formula into the cereal, so she gets whatever is left from the 6.5oz) 12pm - 3 of the following: fruit, yogurt, egg yolks, cottage cheese, cheese, crackers, toast, noodles. Plus 1/ 2 cup water. Most of these foods were not introduced until 8 months 3pm - 6.5oz bottle 5:30pm - meat and veggies and dessert (fruit, yogurt, crackers, or cottage cheese), formula if she is still hungry after this 7:30pm - 6.5oz bottle, 1/ 3 cup cereal Hope this helps!

We just started around 5 months . I started in the morning and evening. But now that he has eating like a pro, we are doing three solids a day.
