What order do you feed baby food?
My nearly 5 month old has started to eat a little bit of baby food. The doctor recommended it Umm... so we started with fruit. Now I think he is ready for something different. So can anyone give me the best advice. Thanks in advance.Which veggie do you itroduce first?
Feeding Baby Food To 5 1/2 Month Old?
My baby pretty much fusses and cries the whole time Im trying to give him baby food, but then Ill give hime a bottle and hes fine. What can I do to help him get used to eating solids and with a spoon? Is this normal for him to be upset until he gets used to eating solids??

When did you start feeding baby food?
I am curious as to when people start feeding their children baby food including cereal . I would like to know how old they were and how you knew they were ready. We had a doctor appt this week and they said I could start it if I wanted, but I'm hesitant because she has a really sensitive tummy. After being heart broken because I couldn't breast feed, it took a while to find a formula that would work. She is on Similac Allimentum and happy no tummy pain , but not filled up.So, how old were your babies and how did you know they were ready?
Feeding baby food why does my baby cry?
i started my 4 month old on baby food. she like almost every kind. she crys when i feed it to her. she likes it because she opens her mouth for it. its not really crying its more like whinning and screaming as shes opening her mouth. and its really stressfull. has anyon elses child done this, and what could be the reason why she does this?
Just started feeding baby food today. Tomorrow I think I will feed him 4 times??
He loves eating from a spoon and although he just started today I gave him peas for supper and rice cereal for bed , I think tom. I will give him 3 meals and a bedtime snack. Is that too much? I plan on giving him about 3 tablespoons at a time unless he is giving signs of being done. I will still breastfeed after each meal and all day and night too.
What is a good age to start feeding baby food?
So Im breastfeeding my 4 month old daughter and the DR says she doesnt need to eat any baby food till she is about 5 1 2 months but everyone is telling me that doctors always say that and that i should start feeding her at least rice cereal.suggestions?
Feeding baby food too early??
My daughter is about two months and already eatting 4 oz. every 2 3 hrs. and its not enough for her. She screams constantly til her next feeding. Then she screams when i take the bottle out of her mouth to burp her as well...Is it too early to start her on cereal or oatmeal? The doc says its unhealthy for her to eat more then 4 oz. per feeding at this age but says she is too young for cereal, so what can i do? Doc says to give her water which i do, but even that doesnt work. What can i do to hold her over until her next feeding. She will not take a pacifier. BTW my daughter is 7 weeks old. She was 7 lbs. 1 oz at birth and is now 9 lbs. She bottle feeds every 2 3 hrs. at 4 oz. per bottle... I dont know if any of those details will help...I would like to start putting cereal in her bottles is it too early? And when will i be able to start her on baby foods. I know doctors say 6 mos, but i just dont think she will be able to hold off that long. I was going to try at 4 mos...any suggestions or opinions only nice and helpful are welcome and appreciated also the doc says she is colicy which makes it hard to distinguish the difference between hungry cries and crying for no reason, but everytime i put the bottle in her mouth she stops crying... so i deal with crying for periods of 2 3 hrs. at a time before during when i need to burp her and after every bottle...she will eat more then 4 oz. if i give it to her. i tried giving her 6 oz. a few times and she ate it without throwing it up but doc says its too much at one feeding for her belly to handle.
