Question: Cheapest place to buy baby food and/or formula...

I live in a pretty big town, and was wondering where you've found the cheapest place to buy formula and/ or baby food. We have the basics (Babys R Us, Walmart, grocery stores, etc...). I haven't compared a ton, but I've noticed that Babies R Us has the cheapest formula, but not the cheapest baby food. Also, are there good online sites? Diapers.com is the only one I'm familiar with... We have been using Enfamil's ProSobee formula and Gerber's Organic baby food. We have been using Enfamil's ProSobee formula and Gerber's Organic baby food.

I have found that all the major stores have about the same price for formula. I usually just watch to see who has it on sale and stock up then. As far as baby food, Babies R Us is way too expensive. Target and Walmart seem to be the cheapest. Jewel usually has good sales on it. I would also check out the Enfamil's website and see if you can sign up for coupons. I have also asked my friends and relatives to keep an eye out for sales and coupons. I have a friend who uses a different formula and different diapers then us, so we trade coupons.

One of the best things to do is to watch weekly ads...if you buy name brands a lot of stores like Target, grocery stores, drug stores, etc. will run different brands on sale for a dollar or two cheaper. If you buy off brands that can vary widely by area...it would be helpful to know what brands you buy.

I'm not sure of any online sites, but I'd have to say Wal mart has to be the best place to get baby gear. I found the Parent's choice brand to be really good, especially the diapers. I've tried every kind of diaper, none of them are as good as the parents choice ones for not leaking in the night. Sorry off topic with the diapers, lol, but yah, I really liked the walmart brands and prices

Sign up with your formula company (enfamil or similac) they will send coupons in the mail. same with huggies or pampers. I signed up with huggies and I get coupons for diapers, wipes, soap in the mail, every month. I shop at target because they have a better variety of baby food and sometimes have sales on certain things.

Diapers.com is overally expensive. They over charge. I buy baby jar food at Walmart because the 3rd foods only cost 50 cents. The Earths Best is cheapest there as well only 90 cents. Walmart is also good for diapers. Boxed generic $13 Boxed Luvs $15 Boxed Huggies/ Pampers $20 I buy my things like sippy cups and spoons from Babies R' Us because there cheaper. I buy clothing at Childrens Place because its cheapest and good quality.

Target and Walmart. Or you can sign up for WIC-- if you qualify they give you free formula until your baby turns 1.
