Cheapest place to buy baby food and/or formula...
I live in a pretty big town, and was wondering where you've found the cheapest place to buy formula and or baby food. We have the basics Babys R Us, Walmart, grocery stores, etc... . I haven't compared a ton, but I've noticed that Babies R Us has the cheapest formula, but not the cheapest baby food. Also, are there good online sites? Diapers.com is the only one I'm familiar with...We have been using Enfamil's ProSobee formula and Gerber's Organic baby food.We have been using Enfamil's ProSobee formula and Gerber's Organic baby food.
Should I buy baby food now?
I have a 3month year old baby and I was just wondering if I should start buying the baby food before she can eat it at all cause I have heard that it can stay good for 1year not opened and if I did start buying it now before she could eat it then I may have a lot were I may not have to buy any baby food for the first year or two of her life and the only and the only time I would start buying it now is when she need wipes or diapers and I was just wonder is this a good ideal to be doing at 3months old for now.and if I do start buying baby food now how much should I buy before she can eat it and plz give number and I know she will be eating baby food just for a couple of months before she can eat solid food for the rest of her life.
Why do people buy baby food?
when it is easy and healthy to make your own? i mean i know there is the convience issue. but a can of baby food cost .50 to .70 cents a shot when you can buy a sweet potato or some other varitity of veggie and make yourself three to five cans worth for a dollor or so and it hasn't been processed so is much heathier for your baby. right? i guess getting a meat grinder might be a little more time consuming though.. any thoughts?i'm not trying to suggest buying baby food ready made is a bad thing. i was just curious as to what other people thought of making your own to buying.
What do you think about natural food vs. store bought baby food?
My baby is only 3 weeks so i don't need to worry about it yet. But when the time comes i would really like to stay away from the gerber cans and give my baby natural food's. I am a stay at home mom so i don't care about it being expensive or time consuming. I heard that you can just buy any foods you want to feed your baby and put it in a food processor and feed them. I was thinking, fruits and veggies. But what about meats or dairy? Is there anything i should not feed them? or anything that should not go into the food processor? Or are there any food's a should deffinitly be feeding them? Basically i want to give them the same stuff gerber sells but make it at home from my own food. Thanks for your help
How is store-bought baby food made?
Obviously to mash up the food they have to soften most of the veggies, so do they boil it or steam it? Won't it lose most of its nutritional value?
Is it OKAY to freeze store bought baby food?
my grandmother told me i can't so I wanna ask people who actually know if i buy store bought baby food and then poor out a little and feed that to him and freeze the rest would that be okay?i didnt say i was going to do this i was just seeing who was right
