What's the best baby food?
I'd like to feed my baby the freshest food possible. I want it to be homemade but also organic. Are there certain fruits and vegetables that are organic? Do I have to grow them myself?Thanks for any info or a list of foods that you can provide. I have a 2 month old little girl and I am really excited to make her food in a few months. For Christmas I received a Baby Magic Bullet and after reading the reviews and seeing all these cool gadgets that steam and blend all in one I am now having second thoughts.... Should I return the BMB and buy a Brezza or a Baeba? I don't own a food processor at all.... should I just invest in a good food processor and vegetable steamer? That's not what I asked. I know babies ranging from 4.5 8 months who are all consuming baby foods from jars. My doctor suggests that babies can be placed on baby food as early as 5 months according to the specific child's needs. I am a full time sailor in the United States Navy with a husband who is currently deployed, after my 10 hour day I don't make myself dinner and sit down at a table, therefore I will not have food to just massh up from my plate and give to her.ADD I love how asking about food processors turned into me being a lazy mom for not wanting to use a fork or a potato masher and wanting a little convenience. You may work 10 hour days but I highly doubt you run up and down a flight line all day catching planes. No I don't expect my kid to eat out of a jar for the rest of her life, that's ridiculous. Right now I need to do things in a timely manner making it easier for me and getting as much as I can get done at once. In a few months my husband will be home and I will not feel so overwhelmed, I will be making meals every night again. I guess me not wanting to feed her store bought baby food and putting in a little extra effort to make sure she gets food that I'm comfortable with isn't enough, apparently I need to mash every meal individually with a fork in order for her to buy me a " 1 mom" mug in the future.People perched on the highest horses have the farthest to fall.I am definitely going to ask my doctor about BLW and whether or not it's right for us.
