Transitioning an infant from babyfood to table food?
My son is 10 1 2 months old. He is my first and I have alot of questions about feedings. Since birth he s been a pokey eater. He started on babyfood at around 8 months because he just didn t want it. At what age do you start giving them finger foods and table foods? How do you transition them from completely puree foods to more solid foods? What kind of table foods do you give them? I have tried giving him stage 3 babyfood that has small pieces in it, but he gags and spits up. I don t want him behind in his growth because I don t know what I m doing. I m constantly worried because I don t know how to do this.

Pre-warmed babyfood ?
I have a bottle warmer that also warms up baby food Jars. I warm up meat in the baby food jar so its warm, take 1 2 out and keep the other half for the next meal. Somedays I dont use the meat and put it in the fridge to use the next day, but I have been throwing away the meat that morning in fear of getting my child sick. Th jar states Refrigerate after opening and use within 2 days .Even though the meat has been warmed up the night before, and then put in the fridge, is it still ok to give her or am I doing the right thing by tossing it in the trash.I hate to waste the meat but not making my child sick is more important. What should I do?Thank so much for all your imput. A first time mom
Any suggestions for making & storing babyfood?
I get wic so they'll pay for jarred fruits & veggies. However I feel that homemade fruit & veggies babyfood would be healthier if I can get wic to pay for fruits & veggies for him instead. Should I get a Baby Bullet or Baby Brezza system or can I do this with a regular food processor & icecube tray or some other storage system? Also which foods are okay as first foods?
