Question: When did you start buying baby stuff????????

So i'm 20 weeks and 3 days and i found out i was having alittle girl! I'm sooo excited!!! I had my first baby 11 months ago. I remember i started buying stuff right away! With this pregnancy i waited until i found out what the baby is. Now that i know im having a girl do you think this is an apprpopiate time in my pregnancy where i can start buying my little girl stuff like cute pink outfits! Also other baby stuff??? Thank you

Yes mamm! I did the same thing .. I found out at 20 weeks I was having a girl and I went and registered that very day. I was really excited. I have her tons of stuff already :) Congratulations!

I started buying uni-sex stuff at 12 weeks and girl stuff at 32 weeks.

I bought neutral things here and there around 10 weeks, then at 19 weeks I found out we were having a boy, since then I have bought something about every week. lol I probably won't buy the big stuff like crib, pack and play and car seat for another 4 to 8 weeks, but that's just because we are on a budget and need to save a little bit more before we buy those. I think you can definitely start your shopping now, have fun but remember babies grow fast so don't go over board on the clothes. Get lots of different sizes not just newborn and 0-3 months. Congrats on your baby girl!

I'm 23 weeks and I haven't actually purchased anything myself. I have managed to acquire quite a few items though...Gotta love friends and family! I guess it's because I'm in transition between places right now, I don't want to load my current home down with stuff, only to have to move it all in a month or two. I'm plenty excited about the baby, just...not about the moving heh. I think you can buy baby stuff whenever the heck you want. There is probably a superstition about doing it in the first trimester just because miscarriage is so possible, but you are past that, so enjoy yourself and your little one!

You can definitely start buying stuff! We have been buying little outfits on clearance ever since we found out I was pregnant. The first big thing we bought was the crib around 15 weeks. We've bought a few other things since then but we are going to wait to do the rest till after my shower, when we see what we still need. :)

You can start shopping at anytime. I started after I found out the gender. I didn't go crazy though because I knew that his family & my family were planning on throwing baby showers to me (we didn't do one big one because of both having huge families-it would take too long). But after my showers were over, I went and got the rest of what I needed (or thought I needed)..and that was around 34 weeks!
