I'm having a baby shower in a couple weeks and I need some REALLY cheap and really great food ideas to keep my guests full and happy. Help????????

Basically, we are being forced to throw a baby shower for some stupid little 20 year old girl in my nursingprogram. She's on her 3rd kid and is such a hateful backstabber..but I don't want to be confrontational and say " No, I won't contribute" as these people have said we are doing this at our nursing school..so I'm gonna be there and don't need issues with them..they are all VERY ghetto and I am the only white kid there, as it is, and they say I have an easy life and will think I'm " spoiled" and " rich" but being " cheap" ..yes, they really will. I can't stand this girl. What kind of food can I make for 8 people that is DIRT cheap? I don't want to spend more than $3 5

For a baby shower.. food ideas?
It's for my baby shower, my mother said she'd like to do the whole food thing, as my friend is planning everything else There will be 15 20 people attending, along with maybe 5 kids all under 5. So up to 25 people all together. My mom asked me what foods I'd like. Im sooo clueless but totally want to help prepare. Shower is on Sunday. So what should we serve? Any good ideas? Beverages?

So i'm hosting a baby shower for my best friend next weekend... she knows shes having a girl, and wanted purple as the theme... other than that I don't have too much to go on to look for ideas on food... I was taking a que from a Full House episode when Becky was telling Jesse she was pregnant and served a dinner of " baby" foods... baby carrots, baby shrimp... etc.. I guess I'm looking for some creative food thinking outside the box ideas other than just ordering trays from the store.... Thanks

A friend's baby shower is this weekend, and I want to bake something baby related...but I'm stumped I was thinking I'd just make cookies shaped like rattles and stuff, but I want to be a little more creative like chocolate truffles served in diapers but perhaps a little less gross Any ideas are welcome

I need help on foods to serve at my baby shower. No im not throwing it, but im picky so my friends want me to tell them what food to get. Im going with basic finger foods really. Fried chicken, roll ups, salad and pasta salad, and fruit, veggie, and cheese trays. I would however like at least one or two more hot foods to go along with it all. Im not really into mini hot dogs, hot wings, or meat balls and thats all ive gotten from anyone.I just want like small appetizers. Something easy that doesnt take a long time

I have gestational diabetes and my sister in law is hosting my baby shower this weekend Saturday 26th I was only diagnosed with it last week so have still to learn all I can.No one in any of our families has ever had to deal with diabetes so we need some ideas for food that will appeal to those who don't need to watch what they eat.Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
