Question about feeding my baby meats.?
I have a soon to be 8 month old daughter, and I am currently starting her on meats. I was wondering, if she can meats a lot. I am giving her a new meat lasting for 3 days to make sure she doesn't have an allergic reaction. My question is When she is finished having all the new meats and all, is it ok to keep giving her different food with meats in it, or should I space out the days and not give her a variation of meat everyday? I just don't know if it is ok for babies to have too much meat...Thanks Sorry if it was confusing Hotheat7...No, I was not talking about the hard tough meat...I ment to be talking about the pureed baby meats. And yes, she usually does have it for dinner, I just didn't know if too much meat could be damaging to her or something. Also, I usually mix her meats with something else as well, wether it's a little bit of fruit, or a veggie...both of which she's already had.

Is it healthy or even safe to feed a baby meat?
I have a question I was wondering is it okay to give a baby any type of meat? Like if you put something like a piece of beef pork chicken in a blender and blend it till it's mush could you feed small bits of the meat mush to a baby?

Advice on giving baby meat and fish?
my son is 6 months. he has been having solids from 4 months, he loves different flavours and enjoys eating. please dont tell me off for starting at 4 months, it was a decision me and my partner thought through with the help of our health nurse anyway at the moment he has been having vegetables that i puree myself for him. im just wondering at 6 months is he ok having chicken or fish if i puree it? along with some veg? or would the advice be to wait anothefr month or so. i think hes ready but i want to make sure it isnt going to harm him xxx

Feeding baby meat for the first time!?
So im going to introduce my son to meats and I think chicken is going to be the first one im going to try... I like to make his food but im having a hard time picking a chicken I heard that some parts are better for them to eat and some have more fat.. so im just not sure any advice would be helpful BQ after you started feeding your baby meat did you notice any difference in their growth? Thanks a ton

What month did you start introducing your baby meat?
My guy is going to be 7 months old next week. According to the puree cook book that I follow you can start giving him meat. Just wanted to see other mom's suggestions.

New mothers - Are you going to feed your baby meat?
I was asked this question by a friend a few months ago and it began haunting me right away. After months of research and discussions with doctors, I've concluded that I won't be feeding my baby any meat.It turns out that, not only do children not need meat, they're actually considerably better off without it.So now the only reason I can find for feeding her meat is taste, and I'm not about to give the message that it's okay to hurt kill animals because they taste good.I've already begun collecting recipes for good tasting meatless foods because I'm pretty sure I'm going to need to give up meat now that I know what I know But I'll be healthier so that's a big plus.

At what age do you give your baby meat
Do you give meat or fish to your baby at 1 year.

About feeding baby meats.?
My daughter is 7 months and we got the OK to start meats. She does great with her other foods and last night tried some chicken that I had put into our chicken enchiladas.Anyways, I'm somewhat unsure about how to make the meats I'm goinig to feed her. I heard you weren't supposed to boil meats chicken that you are giving to baby. I tried to find the reasoning behind it but the site didn't say as to why so I was a little curious. Also, how did you incorporate meats? Just by themselves? or into their veggies?

When can i start to feed my baby meats?

When do you give your baby meat for the first time?
My baby is 8 months. She just got her first tooth. She does the chewing motion and she can pick stuff up with her fingers finger and thumb I've just been giving her either bought baby food veggies and fruits or blending them myself. Is she ready for the next step? She just started crawling. What foods do I give her? I've given her mashed potatoes but that is it off of our plates. I heard blended up checken breast is what you start with but at what age or stage?

Has anyone found bad baby meat on the shelves?
I bought some little jars of meat the other day one of each type to give my son. The ham, beef and veal all appeared to be an odd color when I opened them. I have now thrown them all out and the chicken and turkey were the only ones I could use. Has anyone else noticed this? Am I over reacting? I don't have the means to cook meat and puree it for him, but I want him to have them. Is there a better brand than Gerber or should I just wait on it until he's older and give him something else and stick with just chicken and turkey for now? Are all the meat jars like this or did I just get a bad batch? I don't want to buy more if they will be bad also.Ok sorry, bad meat for baby... LOL

When did you start feeding your baby meat?
Per doctor's approval, we started feeding my son solidas at 4 months. He had one of those insatiable appetites on a milk only diet. We just tarted with rice cereal and then started with green veggies and now he does the full array of veggies and fruits and mixed veggies and fruits. I pureed some rice and beans last week and he ate that as well. He has never had any issues with any foods and has a very healthy and curious appetite. My thought and doctor was okay with this was to wait until 8 months and then start with boiled, unseasoned chicken and just puree it, amybe with some potato. What do you think?

Do you feed your babies meat?
My son is 5 months old, and i'm so overprotective of what he eats.He has never eaten jarred baby food. I use my own homemade baby food recipes. These are a few things I feed him often all made from scratch Banana Puree, Apple Sauce, Strawberry Yogurt, Carrot Puree, Sweet Potato Puree, Oatmeal, Organic Brown Rice Cereal, Pea puree, Hard boiled egg whites, Etc.He is at a healthy weight, and the pediatrician says he is fine but I want to get an idea of when other parents start feeding their children meat, and other " heavier" foods. I just want to start adding foods to his diet slowly because I want him to be able to digest it well. I also would like some opinions If you're going to be rude, don't bother to answer on my parenting skills. Do you think i'm too overprotective?I mean, I just want my son to be healthy. I don't like the idea of feeding him jarred, processed, foods with chemicals preservatives, etc and I struggle to make him food many times per day. His pediatrician says that I should start adding on " heavier" foods anywhere between 6 months 10 months depending on how much he weighs and his response to certain foods. But he says not to mix too many foods or use any oils or too much fat untill he is at least 10 months.

When do you start feeding babies meat?
When is it ok to start feeding a baby meats? My son is almost 8 months old he has been eating veggies and fruit but I have not given him any meat yet and my doctor is not that helpful
