Can anyone recommend a baby formula?
I'm breastfeeding and bottle feeding for my 3 week old baby Im feeding her every hour She seems gassy and she is fussy Its harder for her to have bowel movements even with breastfeeding I just need help im new at this haha
Is it possible for my baby to have an allergy to soy milk but not to soy baby formula?
My daughter who is just turning 1 has been on soy formula since she was 2 mos old due to a severe milk allergy. She has done great on the soy formula but we recently switched her to soy milk, Silk to be specific, and ever since she has had hives. I have talked to several pediatricians about it and they all say that if the soy formula was fine then she would not have an allergy to soy milk. They keep saying it's viral but I just have a feeling it's not. Any advice, suggestions or answers would be greatly appreciated, we have an appointment with her pediatrician on Monday so I am just looking for information and developing a list of questions I want to ask. When feeding baby formula?
I give my 1 month and 3 weeks year old baby formula and this past whole week he throws up. He'll eat and I'll pur him and still throw up a little. Sometimes he won't. Is this normal

Why do people buy baby formula from other people when they can buy it themselves. I see a lot of posting around in the street and in the internet saying " I buy baby formula, good price or idk something else" but its just weird like i know a person that knows a person that knows another person that that person knows and ETC.that steals baby formula and sells it to a guy and is like extra money for that person but my point is why does'nt that person go get it themselves the one that buys it from the stealer. I'm just curious like i don't get it. When to stop baby formula?
My twins are 12 months and 12 days old. They were born six weeks early so their corrected age would be 11 months. They have been taking four to five eight ounce bottles of formula and four to six jars of baby food a day since they were around seven months. I need to know when I need to taper them off the formula. I see that most moms start at a year and some even have their children completely off formula at a year. I am a little apprehensive about taking them off formula at a year because I don't see how they could be getting all of the required nutrients from baby food solids alone. Although they were preemies they are in the lower part of normal range for their weight 21lbs 6oz and 21lbs 3oz, according to the charts and are considered big for their corrected age. Most people have told me to consult my pediatrician however we are without insurance so they do not have a regular doctor as of right now. Does anyone have experience with feeding preemies?
Why am I starting to hear bad things about Similac baby formula?
My son has been taking similac since birth. 1st he was on Similac advanced, then at 5 months they discovered he had a milk allergy that was causing him to break out and switched him to Similac Allimentum but anyways, even changing him to that he still gets Rashes on his face and along with that he has eczema and it just has not gotten better But anyways Have any of you experienced anything bad with Similac baby formula? I was telling a lady at the grocery store what my son was going through and she said what kind of formula is he on, I told her Similac and she said that's why and I should try Enfamil and his rash would probably go away. And others has said things about Similac and Im just wondering is it really that bad???
Can anyone suggest a good baby formula?
my son is 4 months old and i breast feed him during the day and formula feed him during the night... we started him on similac advanced and he had terrible gas so we switched to the similac for gas, fussiness, and spit up, it was a soy product... but i still found him having the terrible gas along with constipation... so i have now switched him to enfamil premium with lipil and he's still having a problem with constipation and he's very fussy now... but it has only been 2 days since we switched.. does anyone have any suggestions for a really good formula or how long should i wait before i try another one if his constipation doesn't go away because its really bothering him he will not sleep
Palm Olein in baby formula reduces bone mineralization. Have any of you heard of these new studies?
I did some research on baby formulas and found several studies that show that the ingredient Palm olein reduces bone mineralization. Most formulas besides Baby's only and Similac use this ingredient. I tried baby's only for my little one because I also like that it's organic, but she gets really constipated from it. Similac early shield works well for her. Although it's not organic. Similac's organic formula contains cane juice. Not good. I really would like to give my baby an organic formula without Palm Olein. But it doesn't seem to exist. Now, do you think it's better to avoid Palm Olein, or to get another organic formula that has palm olein in it.
Purchased baby formula from Ralphs, baby got ill?
Yesterday I purchased formula 6 month old got sick. I couldn't figure out why. I then fliped the container to see it expired nov 2009. What should I do.
