My son is now 6 mo. eating baby food when did u start weening your baby off breast?
I also been giving him 4oz of formula with cereal before bed time, I breast feed every 3 hr's. and mainly twice a night. Now that I am starting to give him baby food 3x a day just wondering how did u ween. I want to do it slowely now that his upper two teeth are starting to come out. Thanks

Did you stick to baby food when introducing solids?
I know all the rules and regulations when introducing solids...but lets throw those out the window and be real here.What were the first things you introduced? Did you stick to the 'guidelines'? I've noticed that my 6 month old hates jarred baby food...and, honestly, I don't blame her. It's all pretty bland. That kid can tear up some garlic mashed potatoes, though. So...we have started blending a tiny bit of whatever we are having for dinner it's all chalked full of spices and she loves it. Last night was poppyseed chicken and green beans

Doctor says, "Feed your baby food when you get bored of Breast Feeding".. What does this mean?
" Doctor, when can I start feeding my 5 month old baby?" " Well usually, Mother's start feeding their baby's when they start getting bored of Breastfeeding?" I chucked back a little in too much confusion to hesitate if I even should ask him what he meant.What does THIS mean?He is a young, Armenian, " modern" Doctor.. I've been to too many but no other Doctor seem to try to have relationship with the parents of his patients.

How do i store baby food when out and about?
This might be a really obvious question but I was just wondering if I have made my own baby puree and frozen it in ice cube trays, if I am going out for the day how should I store it and what would I do with it? For example, If I am going out at 12pm and my baby is due a feed at 2pm, what would I do?I have bowls with lids on, would i pop an ice cube in this before going out and store in a cooler bag until needed?

When Babies eat organic baby food when they grow up, Do they have to keep eating organic foods?
My baby is 4 months old. My husband accidentally bought organic baby food applesauce and she LOVED it BUT a couple of my friends say if she eats organic foods as a baby she will have to keep eating it when she grows up.

I started my daughter on homemade purees at 8 months old. I tried my daughter on table foods at 10.5 months, 11.5 months, and 13 months old bits of banana and cooked carrots and she gagged all 3 times, so i stopped trying and continued with purees , then at 15 months old i tried the bananas and cooked carrots and she took to them.She is now 22 months old and she eats mostly table foods, but she still has veggie purees as she doesn't eat enough veggies otherwise.This is just out of curiosity, Bobbi Yeah my daughter didn t just gag though, she would gag and cough and then refuse to put anymore in her mouth, and so I wasn t going to force it. And I don t like baby led weaning, to me it s crazy to give a little baby whole food to eat. And I didn t give my daughter jarred baby food, I gave her homemade purees.Rod Purees are pureed while what i mean by table foods are actual pieces of food.

My son soooo cute is going to be 4months on the 12th of Nov, but he is a preemie born 29weeks gestation, I was wondering when to start him on baby food? He currently takes 3 to 4 oz of formula every 2 3 hours.

Making baby food ... when did anyone start shrimp or scallops?
He just turned six months so we're on the " 4 day plan" with diff foods, making sure there are no allergies. I'm thinking of starting him on scallops or shrimps but I can't remember the rules .... Any opinions or suggestions would be great.

how long should a baby eat cereal before introducing beginner foods sweet potatoes or carrots? i know when and how much they should be eating... i just dont no how long she should be eating the cereal.. weeks? months?? is there a set limit?.. or is it just.. once shes eating the cereal comfortably.. try something else? one thing at a time to make sure theres no alergies
