What is best for getting baby food stains out of clothes?
I rinse the bibs off, or clothes if disaster strikes, lol. I apply Spray n Wash or Shout......but I don't always wash them the same day. I hate wasting water and electricity to wash just a few of his little clothes. I wait til I have a decent sized load to throw in....but those darn carrot stains just aren't coming out with the pre treating. Does oxy clean work? I use Dreft detergent.

Please don't report me. I am not trying to make money or anything... I just want to help out other new moms who are having the same trouble as me with formula and baby food stains.I tried EVERYTHING to get stains out... the worst one was sweet potato. I tried WISK, Shout, Zout, Baby OxyClean, believe me I tried IT ALL.Finally I found something that really works my husband and I had a box of ALCONOX that we used to use to clean breeding equipment used w our horses. It is an industrial detergent that is completely free of dyes, perfumes and additives. It leaves glass squeaky clean and a lot of dairies use it to clean milk equipment. It can even improve the quality of glass when used over time.Anyway, I figured why not? I'd been washing baby bottles in it prior to sterilizing them. I mixed up a batch 1 tablespoon to a gallon of warm water. How do you get baby food stains off of clear silicone nipples?
I started feeding my baby carrots and was alternating formula and bites of carrots. After washing the clear silicone Playtex nursers in hot soapy water, I noticed one had a bright yellow tint. It felt squeaky clean with no residue, but it still has a yellow tint when looking at it from a certain angle. Is it because of the raised textured surface? Would boiling them get them clean or are they just permanently stained. Can I still use them? Thanks

My baby loves sweet potatoes and they are so good for her, unfortunately, they stain everything they get on, including her clothes, bibs, my clothes, towels that have been used to wipe her face even the rubber coating on her spoons . My normal laundry stain remover that works for EVERYTHING else a product called 'Kids & Pets' doesnt even touch these stains.
