7 mnth old baby food recipes?
Hello. I have an almost 7 month old baby and currently have been feeding her farex and baby food jars. I know how to make my own vegetable and fruit purees which im doing but ive tried her with the Heinz jars of fruit gels and also the custards. I would like to know does anyone know how to make the custards and the gels? My bub loves them. also what finger food should she be having? I'm a bit worried about her choking on anything so have only given her hard rusks to " chew" on she has no teeth yet I tried to give her a piece of my toast and she loved it, but im worried if she has the whole thing a cut up slice not the whole piece that she will choke on it. Advice would be appreciated so much

We were thinking about trying homemade baby food when our baby is about 5 months old. Has anyone ever tried this? Does anyone have any good recipes for baby food that would be healthy for this age? I heard something about making them in ice cube treys, then keeping them in baggies, if you do this, how do you thaw it before feeding baby?

I like to make homemade baby food for my 9 month old. I think she is getting sick of my usual, any ideas?I usually boil a drumstick, lentils, squash, carrots, a potato and sometimes I add a sweet potato and rice. I blend it and feed it to her.I buy her the fruits from gerber but the veggie soups i like to make myself.She still has no teeth.I'm scared of hurting her tummy.

I have already made baby food using 1 2 cup cooked Quinoa2 cups cooked sweet potato2 applespinches of cinnamin and nutmeg.My baby loves this I was wondering what yummy recipes you mommies or daddy's have that incorporates beans kidney, black, pinto, ect... into your baby's diet.Thanks for sharing
Good baby food recipes for a constipated baby?
My lil boy is a really gd eater but is a bit constipated at the minute so I'm trying to think of something to give him to help. I can't avoid the food as some people have suggested because it just doesn't fill him enough. I gave him so fresh pureed apples skinned them, boiled them and blended them which he ate no bother, but other than that I can't think of anything else to feed him what would help as I've heard baby rice and his usual dinner which he loves chicken, peas, carrot and potato puree is no good for when he's constipated. I've also started giving him cold boiled water with a little bit prune juice in it. Ok so I think I may have gone on a bit there so back to the point lolWhat's a nice lil meal I can make for him tonight what will make him full and happy without making the constipation worse? x x x

I love making my daughter's baby food but am getting stuck with recipe ideasThis is one of my daughters favourites she loves it and always eats the whole portion 30g butter1 leek sliced1 celery stick sliced1 red pepper cored, deseeded and chopped60g Red Lentils1 medium carrot peeled and chopped2 sweet potatoes, peeled and chopped1 bay leaf15 fl oz veg stock or boiled waterSaut leaks in butter for 2 3 minutes, add celery, red pepper, carrot and saut for 5 minutesadd lentils and saut for 1 minute. Add sweet pot, bay leaf and stock, bring to boil, reduce heat cover and simmer for 30 minutes until veg and lentils ore tender. Remove bay leaf, puree mash to required texture. Freezes well so worth making a batch.Do you have any good recipe ideas to try?
Do you have any Stage 1 baby food recipes that i can make at home?
I have made my son some pumpkin and carrot puree with a dash of his formula to thin it out and he loves it i froze the rest into ice cubes what other recipes can i make at home with fruits? i have apple, pear, aavoado and banana's.... can you please tell me exactly how you make your stage 1 baby food recipes and let me know if you are able to freeze the food? thanks heaps
