Hi My daughter is 5 months old 23 weeks and is exclusively breastfed. I am planning to start her on solids once she completes 6 months and is in the process of getting ready. I plan to make my own baby food whenever I can, so I was wondering if you have suggestions to find a good food mill grinder processor. How about buying a mini food processor that will be appropriate for baby food portions but also can be put to versatile use? Is there something that worked really well for you?I live in an apartment, so something compact yet sturdy and easily stored will be nice.Also something that is easy to clean & use, of course. Thanks so much In response to the question asked I plan to start solids in 7th month, just a little now and then...just get her used to eating solids very gradually...Thats all..

I am looking for a food processor so that I can start controlling the texture of the foods I am feeding my 10 mo old. Is it worth it to get something smaller and advertised as being useful for baby food? Are there any out there that also steam the veggies?I am not much of a cooked veggie eater myself, so I am entering a whole new world to make sure my son is eating healthy.
