What should a 10-month old breastfed baby feeding schedule be like?
Hi, I am a first time mom. I am breastfeeding my baby exclusively till now. she is 10 month old now. i started to give her solid since she was 4.5mo, she liked it a lot. But, since she turned 7mo, she decided to give up on her solid and take only breast milk. She falls on her weight now, and our pediatrician said that i needed to give her solid more than breast milk at this age. I just want to know the schedule of other 10 mo old babies. feeding schedule so that i can create a similar schedule for my baby...And how much should she take the solid?
3 month old baby feeding and sleep issues..Help!?
I really need some advice from the wise moms out there my lil boy is 3 months,exclusively breastfed..he poops once in every 3 days my ped says thats fine fir the past couple of days i noticed when i try to feed him when he shows tht hes hungry he will just bring his mouth close to the nipple and then turn away..if i try to hold his head and make him feed he will scream..also he wakes up around 6am and wont sleep till 10 pm even if he falls asleep he will wake up in more less than 10min.and he has started farting too lol.. could it be a lot of gas?please hekp..any advice is much appreaciated
35week baby feeding?? and questions?
I have not gone into labor yet but it feels as if i might soon im 35 weeks and i plan to breastfeed my baby boy and im really scared on if he will be able to and if he will be ok if I have him now since he is 5 weeks early i was told on december 27th he was 5 pounds.i want to breastfeed not bottle feed but im not sure if he will be allowed to since he will be a preemie.and what are his odds of making it now will he be healthy

Any ideas? 6 week old baby feeding issue?
My 6 week old daughter has the following symptoms excessive spitting up trouble sleeping once she is asleep Sometimes what seems like red spots on her face, but they go away with in 10 minutes that the feeding has stopped. Upset to burp sometimes cries after a burp. Stinky gas Sometimes after she is upset from burping she tries to drink and cry at the same time, like she is hungry but it hurts. Shows signs of a tummy acheAnd I have recently noticed sometimes she kind of gets stiff and makes a gasp noise and kind of struggles for a minute. She does not turn purple, some times gets very red. It usually happened during feeding I just thought she was choking on it. It happened last night for an entire minute when feeding was over about an hour. Then after I calm her down, because after she was crying, she was laying with her head turned toward me and started twitching her head back and forth and her right arm started twitching and her fingers curled up weird for about 30 seconds. She did not cry after. We took her to the ER and the doctor told me to give her gas drops. I told him I thought she was allergic to the Similac Formula and he said No I dont think she has an allergy. Just gas.She was given medicine for Reflux, but I don't think it is reflux with these other symptoms and I think all of the problems are from one thing, i just dont know what. She also had her pooped tested for a milk allergen and they told us she had one and gave us special formula for it.Oh and sometimes I can feed her without any spit up through the feeding, but 30 minutes later she will start spitting up through out the next 30 min or so.
New mom...baby feeding doubts...pls help..?
my baby girl is 8months old now....i nursed her till she was six months old and then she is fully on formula....she takes 120ml of formula for 6 times a day, and if i try to increase her feed by increasing the ml,she will not drink more than 120....she will start pushing the bottle away...or spitting out...i have introduced rice cereal in the morning and a bottle of veges in the evening....i kind of feel she is not having enough food....i don't know what to do,if i increase she is not having it, when i see the dr he says she is doing fine...but i feel she is not eating properly...what else can i do....pls help...
One nipple size is small for baby feeding?
I got a Cesarian baby ,who is 8 days old now but she is not able to take milk out of one nipple as the size of this nipple mother's left is small and baby is not able to get hold on this nipple, is there any alternate or some machine tool instrument by which baby can suck the milk out of this nipplefor the other nipple, baby is able to suck the milk easily as baby baby's mouth can get hold of the nipple because of the size of nipple is normal
Toddler / baby feeding question?
My brother in law and his wife and 2 boys ages 3 and almost 2 , are down to vistit. So everytime we see them they have to put their input about what I'm feeding my kids. Like last time we went up to see them and they said " we bought sugar cereal cause we thought that's all you give her" meaning my daughter. That is not true at all We give her whole grains and ect. Soo they were over last night and my brother in law decided to tell me I should feed my kids turkey meat and not hamburger, they should eat organic veggies and ect. Now I don't give my toddler can crap food. We try our best. So I guess my question is how do I not take it personal they they are calling me a bad parent cause I'm not perfect at giving my kid the most healthy things I can. Also we have a " no junk food" rule in my house. So they don't eat crap ya know.
6 week premature baby feeding?
I am exclusively breastfeeding my little boy who is 8 weeks old but was born 6 weeks prematurely. He was feeding every 3 hours and sleeping inbetween, but now he feeds every hour and fusses when hes not feeding. We gave established a bath routine starting at 8pm and he settles down at 9pm, however he then feeds at 12, 2,3,4,5,6,and 7 am by then he's wide awake, he feeds hourly in the day too. Im shattered and its getting that I hate breastfeeding because I feel chained to the feeding chair, I cant go to the loo or take a shower. I get so frustrated. i hate that I cant take an hour nap and hand him to my other half to look after because he starts fussing when not on the boob. I have tried a dummy, buys me about 2 minutes tops,I asked my HV about this and she said its a groth spurt, except hes been doing the for a couple of weeks now. I am beyond tired as I got no rest before the birth as my waters broke at 31 weeks so ive been on edge for months,Any advice or help would be appreciated,xhe is latching on, i offer both boobs, and hes having plenty of wet dirty nappies.... mustardy colour etc...I cant pump much breastmilk because he eats so much. plus I cant pump a whole feed, I find it difficult to.
10 day old baby - feeding question?
My 10 day old son doesn't feed very long and I'm worried he may not be getting enough. He is breast fed too by the way. Some feeds he will stay on for 30 mins, then other times he will only stay on for 10 15 mins. If it is a short feed, he is will usually stir after 30mins of sleep and have another short feed. I am concerned as when he was born, my milk took a while to come in and he had low blood sugar due to lack of milk. The mid wife gave him some formula just to get some food into him till my milk came in. Now, my milk is flowing very well, it spurts out when i hand express so i know he is getting something. Do you think he is getting enough? Also, he was 3120 grams born, at his app yesterday, he was 2980 grams. Is it normal to lose that much in the first week? The nurse said they lose weight in the first few days but start putting it on after a week. Shouldn't he have gained weight by now? Please help, concerned first time mum.
