My girlfriend's baby came out black and I'm not black. She said it takes babies awhile to turn white. True?
I got my girlfriend pregnant and took care of her through the whole pregnancy. She doesn't have a job so she's been living with me and I've been supporting her. It's really great because she always tells me how to do stuff so I don't do it wrong. Like when I cook her dinner wrong she yells until I do it right and I've learned so much. But now our baby is black. She told me most babies are born that way and lighten up as they age. I've never had a baby so I don't know, but something seems weird. Is she right? Just wondering because she's not a doctor.
I'm taking a 10 hour bus trip with my 8 month old. does pre-packaged single serving baby food exist?
my husband and i are going from ontario, canada to philadelphia, pennsylvania on a bus with our 8 month old daughter for a 3 day vacation because my husband is insane . she has started solids baby food but is still in the one food at a time stage to make sure she has no food intolerances. she's done cereal and is partway through veggies with fruit to follow.my issue is that we will be staying in a hotel and will not have a fridge to keep open baby food jars cold so they don't go off. my baby is only eating about 1 2 tablespoons of food at lunch and again at supper i'm still breastfeeding on demand as well . one jar typically lasts 3 days opened monday, finished wednesday .does anyone know of any baby food veggies or fruit that comes in smaller size packages than the jars that hold 128ml 4.5oz ? i'm obviously not going to risk giving baby food that hasn't been properly kept but i'd rather not waste 3 4 of a jar every day.thanks in my local store, all the jars are the same size. if you know of a brand that has smaller sizes, please tell me the name and maybe even where you saw it if you can.chris i really hope you don't have children. i happen to have a very calm and frankly, complacent child. she doesn't cry very much at all not even every day necessarily and even then not for long , sleeps through the night and is generally pretty happy. she has been on several long car trips and as long as she's not hungry or wet easily rectified in both cases , she just plays with a toy or sleeps.
I think i was forced into formula feeding my baby when he was a newborn?
Well he is now 13 1 2 months old but I can't stop thinking about it. When I got pregnant from that sec I knew I wanted to bf. I bought books on it that's all I could do there was no llc near me the closetest was like 4 hours away and my hospital was a small town non profit hospital that didn't have anyone that was ceritfied in bf. After I had him we tried for a hour the nurse still couldnt get him to latch for more than 5 min when they took him to do tests his blood sugar was low I nursed him and when they brought him back they said his blood sugar had gotten a little better but it wasn't up to par so I tried nursing again but he was pretty deep into sleep and after doing this a few times I found out that he had gotten formula and when he would be returned to me he would nurse but only for a few min. So I had latching problems again started so after a while and after the nurses talked a tired and sore me into formula feeding. Did the nurses come in every shift change to get the babies vitals and then bring them back 30 min later?
