How do you feed a baby baby food. What are the "rules"?
My son is five months old and just started eating baby food. I know start with greens, so what green is the best to start with? Are we only supposed to give him one flavor for a while so we can no if he is allergic, if so how long do we wait? Tips and answers please and THANK YOU
How often did you feed your six month old gerber baby food?
My baby is six months she's 28 inches & 22 pounds so she's pretty big. I don't know how many times to feed her a day? I thought maybe three but then again babies eat more. Is it like give them baby food every three to four hours like milk? And how often did you give them milk after baby food? Thanks
When did you start feeding your baby cereal/baby food?
My baby is 3 months old. Yeah, I know they say it's too early. But, every time I eat he stares and smiles & acts like he wants it. Makes me feel horrible. & I thought I read somewhere that, that may be a sign they're ready.I don't need rude responses.I don't plan on starting him now. I'm just asking when the norm is. I know its too soon.

Baby food question! 10 points best ans!?
I have been making my own baby food for my son since he's been weaning.I either make put them in ice cube trays or small pots to put in the freezer, I started off with pureed boiled fruits and veg like apple and pear, butternut squash and carrot etc. Now he's 7 months old I've started pureeing chicken as well. My question is, what is the best way to defrost them? Can I defrost them in the microwave like I would with fruit and veg? I always stirred them throughout and checked for heat spots. Does anyone have any good combinations too? x
When should i start with baby food?
My baby is 15 lbs. And 25" hes going to be 4 months in 2 weeks. My question is is it a good idea to be feeding him baby food at 4 months? Im afraid if I start then would he have more of a chance to become obese? Or is his body even ready for it? whats your opinion on it?

Hello mamas I just wanted to have a basis of comparison for my son's eating habits. He loves to eat, and will eat the equivalent of two jars of baby food between 8 and 12 ounces in one sitting if I let him. Usually I don't. I'm still nursing and I nurse him before he eats and if he wants to continue to eat when he is done with his solids I will nurse him some more. It's just the fact that he " could" eat more if I let him. It makes me wonder what a normal amount of solids is for the average baby. His pediatrician has nothing to say about the his eating, so I'm not worried about it. Just curious.
What solid foods besides baby food can my baby eat?
my baby seriously hates baby food...i gave her some mashpotatoes and ever since then she will not eat any baby food i have been trying for 2 weeks to get her to eat all the kinds of baby food and she makes the gag face everytime...i give her mash potatoes and no sugar pudding in which her doctor said that was fine but i was wondering if there was any other food like mash potatoes tht she can eat...no teeth yet...

My 21 month old wants baby food?
She eats regular healthy foods every meal, but every once and while she will get into the pantry and bring me a jar of sweet potatoes or apple sauce. I usually give it to her. I figure it's still real food, it's basically the same as giving her regular apple sauce or mashed sweet potatoes. I got a nasty glare from another mom when I said my daughter wants some baby food sometimes. Is this seriously that wrong to do?
